Reporting an item or a person

Open the item or the conversation, tap the menu in the top right, and choose Report. You can also block someone from the same menu — they will no longer see your listings and cannot message you.

Something went wrong when listing an item

Check that you have added a title and that the location field is filled in. If the location cannot be found automatically, tap it and pick a place. If photos fail to upload, try again on a stronger connection — images are checked before they go live, which needs a moment.

I am not getting notifications

Notifications need permission. On iOS, go to Settings → giveit → Notifications and turn on Allow Notifications. In the app, the home screen shows a banner when permission is missing.

I want to change where I see items from

Tap the location chip at the top of the home screen. You can use your current location, which shows distances, or pick any country and browse from there.
